Although it is put out as a girl's guide, the messages are universal and brothers should be encouraged to read it also. I love this book. This guide is a must. I am always impressed by the quality of book and the timely topics handled by American Girl books. It teaches in an easy way all the fundamentals of handling money that a child should begin to learn by 9 or 10. And it even makes the youngster feel empowered by sharing many tips and ideas on starting one's own business.
